Carol has been cruising Fiji waters for 34 years as Captain on various commercial vessels from cruise ships, sailing yachts, exploration vessels and live aboard dive vessels. For the past 8 years she has been Master of the 35m super yacht MV Surprise which is based in Fiji. On Surprise she has cruised extensively not only in Fiji, but also from Tahiti to New Caledonia. An acknowledged expert on Fiji waters, her well researched tracks, diving and fishing sites and anchorages are now available as a service to super yachts cruising in those waters.
Uri and his family have been operating scuba diving and resort businesses in Fiji for the past 30 years. Brought up in Fiji, Uri was also in the Australian Navy for 10 years as part of Team 1, Navy Clearance Diver. Uri has returned to Fiji and is heavily involved in boating, tourism, water sports, recreational diving and commercial diving. His knowledge of the Fiji waters and logistics of the Fiji Islands assist in our provisioning for your ships and the organization and arrangement of transport, as well as extra-curricular activities for your guests. We thereby ensure your smooth passage throughout the islands, safely and comfortably, and most importantly, enabling your guests to get the most out of their Fiji experience.
Jo is part Tongan, a Fiji Citizen and has been Miss Fix- it and Office Manager for MV Surprise for the past 8 years. Prior to that, she worked for Colin and Carol in their ship building business in Suva for 10 years. She knows everybody in Fiji and is loyal, honest and can just about find a way to make anything work. Jo will handle accounts, bookings and basically is the local Fiji travel agent and if required will give an update on all financial transactions on a daily basis to the Captain.
